Chris Wong (Teacher Chris)
Teaches learners of all ages and levels
Chris Wong is the Founder, Curriculum Director, and Head Teacher of Cantonese Classroom. Dedicated full-time to Cantonese and Traditional Chinese education, he personally teaches students of all ages and proficiency levels, leads curriculum development, and oversees the quality of teaching across all programs.
The Chinese phrase 厚積薄發, associated with the Song-dynasty scholar Su Shi, describes the process of accumulating knowledge and experience over time, refining what has been learned, and applying it thoughtfully and effectively.
The first half ( 厚積) reflects years of work in Chinese curriculum development, classroom teaching, and Cantonese research. The second half ( 薄發) is about turning that knowledge and experience into engaging, effective courses suited to learners in Canada.
