課程簡介
本平台為各年齡層(兒童/青少年/成人)提供中文課程(粵語；繁體字)
課程以單對單或小班教學(2-4人)形式授課。
趣味與系統並重，從歌曲、遊戲及場境應用著手，並系統地建構中文知識及「聽、說、讀、寫」能力。
課程強調「個別化教學」，按照學生的水平及家庭語言背景「度身訂造」課程。
平台為學生提供兩種課程：中文作為二語/外語課程及中文作為母語課程。

中文作為二語/外語課程
適用家庭以其他語言(如英語/法語)作為主要交流語言，只會偶爾使用粵語的學生。
- 1課程以遊戲及情景活動帶動，務求短時間內建立學生對粵語的興趣。
- 2由「聽說」帶動「讀寫」；由淺入深地一步步建立學生的中文興趣及能力。
- 3課程有趣與有效並重，曾有四歲及八歲學生於上課兩個月內認讀大量生字，口頭造句及在不同情景中以粵語完成所指派的任務，例如協助父母以粵語點餐、買菜及唱歌娛賓。
中文作為母語課程
適用於以中文(粵語)作為主要交流語言，特別是父母以中文(粵語)作為傳授知識的主要語言的學生，並具備一定中文基礎，舉如以流利粵語溝通，認讀甚或書寫基本常見詞語。家長並能於課後配合課程，鼓勵學生重溫及應用所學。
- 1課程參照「香港中國語文課程「學習進程架構」，務求持續培養學生的中文興趣、能力及語文思維能力。
- 2課程先強化學生中文知識，舉如識字，及後培養學生聽、說、讀、寫的中文能力。
- 3課程有趣與有效並重，曾有小二學生於上課兩個月內在指導下完成四段的創意寫作，並表示「喜歡作文」。
課程總監
王晉熙
作家、課程發展主任及教師，具備十年課程發展及教學經驗（包括香港及加拿大）。現居多倫多，開發適用於海外學生的粵語課程、教學及評估。兼任香港都會大學中文辯論隊顧問，負責設計訓練課程及傳授演辯技術。曾任香港大學中文教育研究中心，課程發展主任，與香港教育局合作為超過五十間中小學設計中文課程，並提供教師專業培訓。此前，曾於啟基小學及天虹小學任中文科及常識科教師，負責發展校內STEM及語文課程。
教學以外，亦醉心粵語研究，尤其粵語忌諱現象，著有《粵語忌諱現象的語言學研究》一書，作品已被史丹福大學、多倫多大學、台灣國立大學、香港中文大學等海內外學府收錄。其他作品散見於《明報》、《香港01》及《香港文學》等媒體。

Really excellent and fun teaching! Mr. Wong's materials are (much more) relevant and fun especially compared to traditional Chinese schools. Like, dim sum, hot pot, tongue twisters. Mr. Wong is very engaging and my Canadian-born daughter is still enjoying despite losing a lot of her original Cantonese as a toddler. It is nice to have an online version too in case you're outside of North York.
My child has been taking Cantonese lessons here and absolutely loves them! The classes are interactive, practical, and focused on real life rather than rigid textbooks. The teachers are lively and the topics are so kid-friendly that my child looks forward to class every week. It’s a wonderfully natural approach to language learning!
Highly recommend Cantonese Classroom with Lou Si Chris! As an adult learner, returning to Cantonese after many years felt intimidating, but he made the entire experience enjoyable, approachable, and incredibly rewarding.
